CHANGES

CAUSE

Transparent data encryption has been implemented in the environment and the master key has been re-keyed in the primary database.

SOLUTION

After re-keying the master key in the primary database, perform the following steps:

1. Copy the wallet file (ewallet.p12) from the primary database server to the wallet location of the standby database

Note: The old wallet file in the wallet location on the standby database server has to be removed or renamed. The new ewallet.p12 should be present in this location.

2. Make sure the wallet on the standby database is in auto-login mode.

Once the above steps are completed, the MRP resumes and the logs start getting applied on the standby database.
